Open letter in which Bergman announces his exile.
About the text
Bergman left the country due to the ongoing tax investigation against him. The article’s tone is bitter though (as usual) ironic:
I have been a staunch social democrat. I have embraced the grey ideology of the compromise wholeheartedly. I thought my country was the best in the world, and I suppose I still do – possibly because I’ve had so little contact with other countries.
