Born Anna Margareta Birgitta Asp in Söderhamn, central Sweden, on 16 May 1946.
Asp has worked with many of Sweden’s contemporary leading filmmakers, including Roy Andersson, Kay Pollak, Mikael Håfström and Josef Fares.
